I ended up talking to another doctor through a web conference and got tested for COVID19. I tested negative but this could also be because it took so long to get tested. The good news now is that I’m feeling mostly like I was before getting sick.

Kinja'd!!!

My breathing isn’t as good As before but I’ve been struggling with that and allergies since the fall.

I finished my semester and start the summer semester on Monday. I’m hoping to finish -free the fall semester and should as long as everything goes to plan. There is one huge problem though for the fall semester. I’m out of financial aid after the summer. So as of now I won’t be able to afford my last three classes in the fall. I worked on a lot of scholarship applications earlier this year like I always do. I’m also continuing to work on some. The head of the non traditional student organization I’m a part of on campus is Going to be helping me apply for something the campus has called the get to graduation scholarship which is supposed to help students who have run out of aid. I have a draft of my application that I’m working on with the head of the org. But the university is also losing a lot of money right now. I’m hoping being at a satellite campus of University of Michigan (I go to UM-Dearborn). Means that aid will still exist but I’m anxious and depressed that at this time I won’t be able to graduate. Which would make all of this worthless and have piled on so much debt for nothing.

The good news though is that I’m recovering and starting to feel better. I’m working with my therapist and trying to take this one day at a time.

I’m fairly sure things will work out on the financial end with continued work.  The world is going to be a changed place next year.  Things look a lot rosier for people just graduating than a few months ago.  Keep those grades up and start impressing.

Thank you for keeping us in the loop. All that time and patience with financial aid should pay off with at least some help towards those last classes, but glad to hear you are close to graduation, and therefore closer to getting away from your current living situation. And graduating in the fall has much better prospects right out of college than the current graduates are facing. Gotta be thankful for the small things. Keep an eye on that breathing though.

Too bad that the test didn’t come back as positive, since that doesn’t mean you didn’t get it and would have been reassuring to know what you contracted. Remember  I’ve been continuing to pray for you.

Glad to hear you’re doing better. Keep an eye out for opportunities when they come up, and things have a way working themselves out.

Thanks for this; I almost reached out Tuesday since I knew the tests were coming back this week.

I stumbled upon this information last night; I may be the last person to learn it, but something that might be helpful in the future.

Glad you are feeling better. In my part of Colorado, we have 6 or 7 other viruses floating around which are still kicking peoples asses, that aren't COVID.

Glad to hear your on the mend. A colleague had it and he said he just felt shite all the time and was doing 14-16 paracetamol a day and had to drink so much water because of the amount of paracetamol he was taking. My step-father had it, but he was asymptomatic and so was very lucky.

You’re welcome, I should have updated sooner. I already take vitamin d. I have low levels and it’s supposed to help with my hypothyroidism and depression that gets worse in the winter.
